Open Question: Why am I so sad all the time?
(Sat, 11 Feb 2012 09:21:01 GMT)
Life has never been fair to me. I started out neglected by my mother with an absent father. I was put into foster care and then adopted. My now parents divorced shortly after my adoption and I was alone living at my grandma's house, a little 4 year old boy. After about a year I went to live with my mom, we never stayed in one place and I was always changing schools so I never really had friends. Frustrated, I took it out on my family and ended up finding myself disowned and homeless. I had to

(Fri, 02 Dec 2011 22:35:16 GMT)
How can I turn this story into an arguement? Please help ASAP! It was a sunny afternoon in California, I smiled and hopped out of bed. Today my mother and I planned to go and help out at a shelter for homeless men, women, and children. We read an article in the news last Wednesday that Monday will be the day for anyone interested to come out and help make food, and clean up for the homeless shelter. We were waiting for this day to come and now it is finally here. We got ready and my mother a

Resolved Question: As A Vietnam War Vet, I founded AmericasCHILD RELAY to help children/youngsters, how can I find support for it?
(Mon, 31 Oct 2011 01:17:17 GMT)
www.americaschildrelay.com has provided "OPPORTUNITIES" & "OPTIONS" for thousands of children/youth over the past 25 plus years. I have sent packages of information/material to both First Lady Obama and 2nd Lady, Dr. Jill Biden. My biggest fear is that the information I have furnished them will fall into the notorious "black holes" of bureaucracy never to be read, considered or reviewed by either lady or their staff. Like myself, I though there are thousands of Veterans, including Vietnam Vet

Resolved Question: Is anyone else in an existential crisis?

....and find that none of the answers that you get fill the deep void you feel inside? I just feel it is all pointless. People say "create your own meaning", but those words feel empty . I long for some deeper, intrinsic meaning to all the suffering. I'm about to be homeless and have a neurological condition that precludes friendships or relationships.....so the only certainty is that I will be alone for the rest of my existence here on earth. Resolved Question: Tea Party-why are they using these programs ?
(Wed, 24 Aug 2011 16:55:33 GMT)
First, let us note the hypocrisy of some of these people who call for small government and a balanced budget while at the same time are studying in a public university. One must question why they are here at the University — why are they using these programs when they go against everything they stand for? Shouldn't they be in one of those private universities that are so much better? Could it be perhaps that public universities are more affordable and accessible than private universities and t

I think that all of the above are human necessity, not a right. If that's the not the case, why didn't our forefathers put those specific things into the Constitution ? Because all of these basic human necessities are bought and sold every day in the free market in the context of the goods and services that they really are.
