Resolved Question: How do I overcome fear of shower caps?
(Wed, 14 Dec 2011 00:01:24 GMT)
When I was a kid, my mom washed my hair at once a week and took me in the bath at everyday. I didn't wash my hair by myself and I took a bath by myself instead of a shower for 19 years. I had some health problem but my body becomes stronger now. In the last spring, I wanted to be independent and my mom taught me to wash my hair by myself in the shower. I washed my hair by myself in the shower for seven months and but I still took a bath at everyday because I washed my hair at twice a week. Yes

Voting Question: What routine do I need to follow in order to lose a large amount of weight?
(Fri, 11 Nov 2011 17:08:21 GMT)
I have been ill with a numerous amount of things for the last few years and therefore have missed a lot of school. So, whilst staying at home and constantly sleeping..it has caused me to put on a lot of weight! I am carrying an extra 14 kg of weight and need to lose it ASAP!
I want to follow a routine, like what to eat, and which exercises to incorporate into my lifestyle, however, the problem is that I have a long list of severe allergies (fruits/vegetables/nuts/soya/latex). I also have vert

Voting Question: Where's the controvercial subject group? Well here's a topic for you. NOT for animal lovers?
(Wed, 19 Oct 2011 19:10:49 GMT)
Getting us there: Whether we walk, bike, drive or fly, animal products help to get us where we are going. The asphalt on roads and walkways, the concrete blocks used to build bridges, even the steel in trains and planes are made using animal products. Animals also play a part in all sorts of mechanical items. For example, fatty acids and proteins are used to make lubricants and fluids. Glycerol is in brake fluid and anti-freeze while stearic acid is used to help tires hold their shape and impr

Resolved Question: What is wrong with my skin?:?
(Sat, 16 Jul 2011 07:40:45 GMT)
My skin is looking really dry and wrinkled. None of my siblings have skin that looks like this. It looks very thin. It was looking dry & ,now it looks worse than merely dry.. In addition, something else really strange is going on.
A number of times now, for no reason, other than feeling a prickle like sensation, I will get big red splotches, sometimes with raised welts in the big red splotches. The splotches are tender. Does Herpes II or Shingles do this. Nothing I read about those two condit

Resolved Question: Is it constant glove use causing this?
(Sat, 09 Jul 2011 15:35:12 GMT)
My hands tend to be dry, cracked and flaky but the worse part is the tinny tiny pinprick lumps i get on my palms and fingers that look like blisters!?
in my job it requires that I wear rubber gloves (like you see at the docs) all day everyday to protect the work not me.
In general my hands can be a little sweaty but at work it can get so bad it'll be dripping down my arm from the gloves, its so uncomfortable:( seeing the company's occupational health nurse he swapped me from latex to nitrile

Last summer I was doing jumping jacks and felt a pain on my left lower quadrant. In other words near pelvis? Anyways It was quick and sharp and lasted for a few days especially when I jumped again.
It was gone now suddenly I have the pain again its been around for 6 days now. It hurts when I lay down and first wake up. Resolved Question: Problems after depro provera?
(Sat, 26 Jun 2010 02:18:04 GMT)
I am in a complicated situation that no one else seems to have been in. When I started taking birth control I was 18 and took the pill for about 3 months and decided it was working against me because I bled for 53 days straight. They decided to put me on the shot (depo) which I was on until September of 2008. So from June 2007 to September 2008 I got the shot every three months. After the weight gain and migraines and high blood pressure we decided the shot was no longer for me and tried a few

Resolved Question: Why do so many children have allergies?
(Fri, 21 May 2010 05:14:33 GMT)
Does it seem like more children have major, life threatening allergies now that years ago? Or is it that their parents are on their soap boxes activist-ing about it and we hear about it incessantly now where, and when I was a kid people kept their kids' health problems to themselves? Because I sure as heck know I had never even heard of big scary peanut allergies, strawberry allergies, wheat allergies, gluten allergies, latex allergies, and life allergies back when I was a kid. I didn't meet a

Resolved Question: Is birth control pills bad for my health?
(Wed, 23 Dec 2009 12:50:29 GMT)
I have been into sex with my bf for last 3 years. My bf never uses condoms. So I take pills for myself. But my mum says that we should not do it this way because pills are very unhealthy for girls under 18. She says that pills are more likely to result in pregnancy than condoms. I have talked to my bf and he says he doesn't want to use condom as he has latex allergy. So should we stop our sex life, or continue with pills, or I make him use a condom anyway? Please help.

Resolved Question: Question about permanent disqualification- I need help!!?
(Thu, 06 Aug 2009 03:07:51 GMT)
I recently went for my physical @ meps, on the medical questionnaire (during the physical) I put that I have a latex allergy, which resulted in my permanent disqualification.
I have never been officially tested for a latex allergy, when I was young I had a skin reaction to a latex glove (just hives) So it was assumed that I had a latex allergy, and I have led my life avoiding latex, and believing that I am actually allergic to it. I am planning on getting an allergy test, to see if I am actu

I need to know what I have and if I need to see a doctor or I can just cure it with meds that don't require a prescription. I have ear aches on both of my ears that sting and burn like crazy unless I put a few drops of a mix of rubbing alcohol and vinegar in them. My throat is sore and swollen I am only able to consume applesauce, soup, soft stuff. My nose I stopped up with thick snot that I have a really hard time getting out. I have threw up a few times due to my body heating up; making me t

I have developed an allergy to latex or powder used in gloves.

My employer has already supplied latex/powder free gloves.

Resolved Question: How do i protected sex without condom or pills?
(Mon, 02 Mar 2009 19:28:32 GMT)
I'm in a really tricky situation. I've been having sex with my girlfriend for about 2 months now and we've only occasionally used condoms or just before i cum because she has slight allergies to latex and it dries things up and makes it impossible to continue.
She can't take the pill because it causes depression and other really bad symptoms even though she's used different types of pills. She'd get an IED placed but she doesn't have health insurance and it'd be pretty expensive at the moment

My niece, Rebekah, has a dairy intolerance and gets ill when she drinks milk or milk related products. She also suffers from a chronic tree nut allergy and as well as being allergic to dairy products and soy is allergic to many other things such as latex etc.
When she drinks milk Rebekah suffers from lethargy, bloating and a general decline in her health and immune system. She is now 11 and has had this from a baby. She also will get an upset tummy from consuming what most of us call a norma

Resolved Question: Redness on my under my penis glans. What is it?
(Thu, 23 Aug 2007 08:21:29 GMT)
went to health clinic today... they said it was not herpes or STD. But its been sensitive and raw for the last 2 weeks and doesn't seem to heal. It looks raw too, with some areas ever so small(size of this 0) and very very slightly raised..almost like a blister but not quite, because there is no fluid inside. If I squeeze it, it just acts like skin, not a bubble about to pop. I suspect a yeast infection or bacterial, but its not spreading at all. Allergy, autoimmunity, or just a very serious a

Resolved Question: Ladies, personal health question for you . . .?
(Fri, 08 Dec 2006 04:15:53 GMT)
My nipples have been really itchy for several months. I've been using a body repair creme, and it seems to be working. But what caused this to begin with? Could it just be dry skin? Is it hot water from the shower? Is it my bra (I do have a latex allergy, but I've never reacted intensely to latex)?
Ideas? Thank you.
lol, um blubyum13, i'm in my late 20s, and i already have an ample bosom, so i'm hoping you are wrong . . . in the nicest way. :)
