For vomiting in children and adults, avoid solid foods until vomiting has stopped for at least six hours. Then work back to a normal diet. Drink small amounts of clear liquids to avoid dehydration.

Voting Question: Nausea to the point of almost vomit after eating a small meal and getting completely full but hungry later?
(Fri, 10 Feb 2012 01:49:48 GMT)
I have this friend who has been dealing with gagging on meat for years now, so she has become a vegetarian. She is now a relatively healthy 15 year old, and lately in the past month or so, she has been gagging on a number of foods-foods that she favors so its not a revolting thought that is causing her to gag on it particularly, she is also 215-220 lb. Now in the past two weeks, she has begun to get nauseous right after she is done eating a small meal that consists of 2 frozen peaches and 2 cr

Voting Question: How much damage have I done to my health?
(Fri, 10 Feb 2012 01:27:11 GMT)
I have used rubbing alcohol for more than ten years (as a child) to prevent cyclic vomiting-type episodes in times of nervousness (the smell suppresses nausea) and I have always washed my hands and sometimes even arms with the liquid (as if it were hand sanitizer). Now I have read that exposure to rubbing alcohol is dangerous. What am I facing here? Future cancer? How much damage have I done through ignorance?

Voting Question: Why Do I Wake Up Feeling Nauseous/Vomiting Every Morning?!?
(Thu, 09 Feb 2012 15:04:51 GMT)
Hey I've seen alot of these questions online, but not many solutions. First off, I'm a fairly healthy 20 year old male resident of Canada. Up until this point I've been very, very healthy, fit, and sane. Around 2 weeks before Christmas last year (2011), a friend had made me some cannabis butter cookies. We had quite a bit, and a few days after our fun was done and we were out I started to feel a little weird. Not that I was going through "withdrawls" or anything, but that my body was lacking s

Resolved Question: Some of my co-workers & acquaintances get ill from exposure to strong fragrances, is this a common problem?
(Sat, 04 Feb 2012 14:30:52 GMT)
Exposure to other people using strong perfume, body sprays or aftershaves causes a whole host of physical problems including respiratory, headaches, nausea, vomiting, etc. If I touch something that had been touched by someone who had a fragrance on their hands, I get an itchy rash. Some of my co-workers think I'm crazy and can't understand why I don't like things like febreze. They don't understand that it causes health issues for me. Is this all in my head like they claim? I can't even walk

I'm desperately trying to see if anyone has a clue about this issue or can give me some guidance. I have visited the vet (emergency included) about 5 times in the last 9 months over this problem and not one doctor has any clue what may be going on. I've had all sorts of tests for kidney issues, liver issues, pancreas, etc., and my dog is fine on all levels. Voting Question: What would happen if I let this "anxiety attack" progress?
(Tue, 10 Jan 2012 03:56:32 GMT)
I have a fear of vomiting in class or a room with no easy way out, with or without people of my age. It's pretty specific. I used to have a fear of vomiting in public in general, but that went away. Of course, when it comes to your health, the more paranoid someone is of their health, the more likely it (the negative effect) is going to happen. Ever since I've developed the fear, I started to feel nauseated in class. But the funny thing is that when I quickly leave the situation into a "sa

I've had my fair share of health issues this past month, so much so that I do not want to get sick again. I had a stomach virus a few weeks ago, no vomiting just constant nausea and constipation, also some heartburn. Secondly, I currently have an GI infection and I'm just getting over, so needless to say I must not get this. She has body aches right now, and since I'm home from college for the month, I need to remain healthy because I'm also getting my wisdom teeth out in a few weeks and don't

I'm getting a little concerned about the following symptoms I have been experiencing. I haven't thought much about it because it goes away fairly quickly if I lay on my stomach. Then 3 day
