(Fri, 02 Dec 2011 19:30:25 GMT)
Second hand smoke is a known cause of many health issues especially in children, one of the worst being SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). Do you think children should be aloud to be around people who are smoking?
(NOTE: This is a poll for a report i'm doing on second hand smoke in school, so just personal opinions,
answers don't have to be from scientific points necessarily)
Thank-you!

Resolved Question: baby on back or side?
(Tue, 30 Mar 2010 21:01:05 GMT)
In NZ (where I live) the Ministry of Health recommends babies sleep on their back ONLY to help prevent SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome -cot death) However I see so many babies/toddlers these days with funny looking flat heads. 'They' say to get around this to alternate babies head from side to side while on back but I have still noticed that babies heads still end up with a flat spot.
Yesterday I bought a wedge thingy which you use to prop your baby on its side so it can sleep safely withou

Resolved Question: How are these body paragraphs for an argumentative essay on Pregnant women who smoke?
(Thu, 25 Feb 2010 07:56:16 GMT)
This is just a rough rough draft and am seeking any advice to make it better.
Smoking while pregnant can cause irreversible and irrefutable damage before birth and life lasting effects after birth. Studies have shown that there is a lot likelier chance that a baby born whilst the mother has been smoking will either be born with or eventually develop problems. Such problems include asthma, low birth weight, prematurity, and even Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). For example, according

Resolved Question: for the parents who smoke.............?
(Wed, 05 Aug 2009 06:21:04 GMT)
Let kids live smoke-free.
If you smoke, quitting smoking is one of the greatest gifts you can give your children (and yourself). Kids who live with a smoker cough and wheeze more and recover more slowly from colds. Secondhand smoke increases a child's risk for ear infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, upper respiratory infections, and asthma. In addition, infants regularly exposed to smoke are at higher risk for sudden infant death syndrome. For your child's health, and your own, kick the smokin

Resolved Question: To all you people out there who think abortion is wrong...?
(Fri, 06 Feb 2009 06:20:28 GMT)
Why do so many of you simply refuse to look at the other side of the argument? Yes, murder is wrong, we fucking get it, but there's more to it than just that. If a serial killer who's sworn that he'll kill again is standing in front of and you have a fully loaded pistol, do you simply say "murder is wrong" and let him go? Now i know what you're gonna say, there's a vast difference between killing a serial killer and killing an innocent baby. But the thing you refuse to acknowledge, is that mak

Resolved Question: can someone please help me correct my spelling?

Third of all, I think that smoking should be banned in all public places because it can cause fire. Usually due to the carelessness of the smoker for flicker the cigarette butts everywhere that is why it caught fire and more severely is that it damage building, houses, and harm people and animals. For example, there was a case on March 23, 1999 where there was thirty-nine people lose their life due to the caught of fire in the Mont Blanc Tunnel in France. The caused of this trauma is because t

Resolved Question: Is it recommended by health professionals to put babies to sleep on back or tummy in the UK?
(Tue, 18 Nov 2008 00:14:07 GMT)
I know in America they recommend to put babies to sleep on their backs to reduce Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. I'm recently discovering that America is doing things a lot different than the rest of the world- and it usually isn't for the best. So I'm curious what the standard procedure is over there? Thanks :)

The links from vaccinating pets to horrible life threatening diseases is even recognised by the big vet schools....which is why all the vaccine protocols are changing. I cant understand the mentality which encourages human medicine to d

Resolved Question: Do you investigate before you vaccinate?
(Sun, 25 Mar 2007 22:39:16 GMT)
INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU VACCINATE!
Federally recommended vaccinations ensure that a baby will be injected with a total of 51 viral and bacterial antigens by the time it is 6 months old! Included with all these germs are preservatives, adjuvants and antibiotics proven highly toxic to a baby's brain and nervous system. The federal government's vaccine injury data base contains names of thousands of dead and disabled babies and children who were healthy just prior to vaccination.
