Now I know that this drug can help certain people, but I have a lot of resentment for it, and for the doctor who decided for me to ‘test it out’, even though it was new at the time. So I strongly urge anybody who is going to try this drug, to get a thorough look it and not just try it and take a guess. Your life, no matter how tragic it may be, could get one hundred times worse if you just go ahead and take a guess with a drug that could probably cause severe harm to you, and can possibly kill you.If my parents didn’t get me to the hospital sooner, I would have died. Just please try be careful with these drugs.

I had Implanon placed in my arm just over one week ago. I’ve been having non-stop pain that radiates up to my armpit and sometimes makes my entire arm tingle. The pain feels like something is pinching. Has anyone experienced this after it was placed in? i have been taken zeldox since 1 year and a half . I took a cefuroxim treatment for 5 days and it was really bad because i started feeling trembling , a chest pain and my lips started trembling . It was really awful so it took me 15 days to recover completly . So i advise all those who are taking zeldox not to take cefuroxim because they will feel all the side effects of zeldox .

I have taken Spiriva for the last four years.  I started having occasional severe leg cramps shortly after starting it.  Now the cramps are almost nightly, and occur on average four times a night.  I have also developed fast-growing cataracts, which first appeared only three months ago.  They are now so bad I am almost legally blind at the age of 55.  Two surgeries coming up to replace the lenses in both eyes.  I ran out of Spiriva a couple of weeks ago when the mail-order pharmacy failed to ship it.  During the week I didn’t have any, guess what….the leg cramps went away. Prompted me to find out if Spiriva might be causing the leg cramps.  Interesting to see on this site that other users are having the same problems.  Will be talking to my pulmonologist very soon about discontinuing this drug.

I have had the implanon implant for about five months now, my experience has been mixed but, overall, positive.
The most annoying thing is that there is no way to predict your period, it comes whenever it wants and can go on for over a week, stop for another week and then start again. It’s very light, however, so it’s not like it’s intensely problematic. Over the past few months I’ve also had quite sore breasts, which is a bit of an issue dancing or running. In terms of mood swings, I do find that I can occasionally go off on one, but I’m not sure if that’s unrelated, or perhaps even a placebo effect because I was kind of expecting to get mood swings from the implant.
However, the convenience it gives you in terms of your sex life (with a safe partner, of course) I think outweighs the problems. I do think I’d go for the coil next time, just to avoid the sore boobs issue, but I’d say give it a go and see how it works for you.

My period is 16 or 17 days with a 3 day break.  I am so sick and tired.  I have bad acne (never did before taking this even on the IUD), I have gained a ton of weight! I am wondering about taking this drug at age almost 70.  Had bad sore throat and cough with yellow mucus in Feb, 2012.  Dr gave amoxicillin for 10 days. But June 2, 2012 still having symptoms not as bad, but still cough and mucus.  One night throat was real sore, so made another Dr app.  He  recommended a stronger antibiotic.  Didn’t think anything much about it till got the paperwork on it. And pharmacist told me this would interact with the nortriptylin I was taking.  So went off Nortriptylin for 10 days.    I have a tendon in my left heel that had already been acting up with soreness and pain.  So that kind of alarmed me seeing that side effect, but still thought just 10 days wouldn’t hurt.  But now on 7th day, blurriness of vision is very noticeable and some dizziness on standing up.  And because of the paperwork stating the symptoms could last months after stopping med, I am wondering about the safety of this antibiotic for me.  not driving for 10 days I can work with, but for months afterward?? 
I hate to report to Dr if these are just temporary and not too important.

A therapist prescribed wellebutrin 75 mgs for my 13 year old nephew for ADD.  The pharmacist said it was too much for a 13 year old and was not FDA approved for kids under 18.  Called this doctor who said cut pill in half.  Did so.  Second day on it my nephew got very physically aggressive and got in a physical altercation with my 17 year old son.  My nephew was uncontrollable and could not contain or control his anger until he was put in a strong hold.  Even then he tried to resist.  Called doctor again and said we needed to discuss a different med for ADD, like stratera or something preferably non-stimulant. When we went for our appt and tried to discuss other meds, doctor got very beligerent, telling us to shut up several times that he’s the doctor and he knows best and it was straterra or nothing.  We asked for the pros of straterra vs other meds we had hear of and he told us to shut up. Unfortunately my nephew has had trouble sleeping in the past and we were afraid of this happening.  As we tried to express this to the doctor he got very angry telling us to leave his office and that it would be straterra or nothing.  He wouldn’t even let us discuss the pros and cons of any other meds.  Is this normal?  Why would a doctor act like that?  We ended up paying $25 for the doctor to forward my nephew’s chart to his regular practitioner.  Even then doctor said that even though he only saw my nephew once and our regular doctor has his practice across the street, it would take more than a week before he could send them.  We said okay and went across the street to make an appt with our regular practitioner.

As for taking it off the market, it’s not meant to be crushed and snorted. The ER is absolutely not mean to be crushed.

Don’t punish people who NEED pain relief because some people abuse the medications. I’m really really sorry to hear about anyone’s death due to drugs; unless it occurred while on a drug taking it as prescribed, I don’t think it should count in considering market safety. We can’t help the fac that some people base drugs.

I took opana er for 5 years, starting at 10 mg bid and eventually ending up at 20 mg tid. The best thin about opana er for me was that I didn’t reall ave Sid effects from I like I get from other narcotics. I’ve switched to fentanyl for t time being because my pain has jet exploded on me lately.

The worst part about opana eras the price, even after insurance paid I’d b elf with a $200 per month for Tgat medication alone.

Hey girls, I’ve had my implanon for five months now. When I first got it I had a really bad fever and for a while I was very emotional and was depressed most of the time. Now that my body has gotten used to it I feel normal, sometimes I do get moody but I’ve learned to control it better. My period still comes once a month but now I only get spotting.
Lately my right arm (where the implant is in) has been very itchy, I’m not sure if it’s because of my period or because my body is fighting the birth control but I made an appointment to see a doctor to make sure everything is fine.
One question is it normal for your boobs to hurt a lot right before your period?
Other then that I highly recommend this type of birth control for woman who don’t always have time to be taking their pill or changing their patch all the time.

I had a rocephin shot in each butt cheek. The right butt cheek developed a quarter sized dimple within 24 hrs. Three weeks later the dimple is now a depression about 2 1/2 inches in a triangular shape and about 1 inch deep. Pain, aching, in butt cheek, hip bone, muscle, and slightly down the leg.

prescribed clonidine 2 months ago for hot flushes due to the menopause. I am taking 25mcg twice a day as I cnnot tolerate the advised dose of 50mcg twice a day, but this lower dose has stopped the flushes. Infortunately I have been perpetually cold and have become really irritable. Is this a drug reaction or more symptoms of the menopause?

After 3 months of use, I started experiencing fatigue, depression, lack of interest in things I once found enjoyable. Are you bipolar. Could it be one of the other meds or a reaction to all of them combined.

this i have noticed is wight gain is a factor , but over the last 5
years i have more and more migraines and iam quite restless i find it
hard to relax i just carnt sleep ~ the thing is with epilim tho how do
you ever get off it i feel trapped its like dont fix it if its not
broken but what are the long term effects of this drug ? do we really
know ?

I’m experiencing severe dizyness almost do face plants to the ground a dozen times a day. Can’t focus  when tryin to read.
Always confused and forgetfull .
about to loose my job if this shit continues.
