INFLUENZA (FLUMIST) Side Effects Report # 340042
INFLUENZA (FLUMIST) side effect was reported on 01/26/2009. Female patient, 34.0 years of age, was vaccinated with INFLUENZA (FLUMIST). After vaccination, patient experienced the following side effects: angiogram, antinuclear antibody, electromyogram, glossodynia, hypoaesthesiaNumbness in right thumb that rapidly spread to both hands and then into feet. Sense of tongue burning followed by a sense of numbness about the face. Stiffness of legs. Mild saddle area paresthesias. Patient was 1st evaluated on 12/23/08 and c/o symptoms x 1-2 weeks. Patient states 1/26/08 symptoms almost and completely resolved.. No"Hx, metastatic papillary cancer of thyroid s/p thyroidectomy""MRI/MRA; EMG, labs: B12; ANA; ESR; HCG" . During the same period patient was treated with Levothyroxine; ORTHO NOVUM. Patient recovered.
