INFLUENZA (FLUMIST) side effect was reported on 12/31/2008. Male patient, child 8.0 years of age, was vaccinated with INFLUENZA (FLUMIST). After vaccination, patient experienced the following side effects: injection site erythema, injection site swelling, , , "12/30 Mom noticed swelling at injection site after 5:00PM , 0 fever; spoke with on call triage nurse; applied cool compress; Rx Benadryl, Motrin 12/31 erythema + swelling slightly larger than 12/30 at 2in diameter; afebrile; will cont treatment cool compress, Motrin + Benadryl". NoneNone . During the same period patient was treated with None. Patient recovered.

INFLUENZA (FLUMIST) side effect was reported on 03/24/2009. Male patient, child 4.0 years of age, was vaccinated with INFLUENZA (FLUMIST). After vaccination, patient experienced the following side effects: injection site swelling, injection site warmth, , , "Right upper arm completely swollen, warm but not tender, swelling was beyond elbow on 2/19/09. Recheck if redness starts to extend rather than recede or if fever or tenderness continue warm compresses.". . Patient recovered.
