Male patient, 43 years of age, was diagnosed with burkitt's lymphoma, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and was treated with CYTOSINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: blood cholesterol increased, blood triglycerides increased, osteonecrosis, osteoporosis, pain in extremity, spinal compression fracture. CYTOSINE dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DOXORUBICIN, METHOTREXATE, VINCRISTINE, HYDROCORTISONE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, PREDNISOLONE, RITONAVIR, SAQUINAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: acute graft versus host disease in intestine, bone marrow transplant, cerebellar syndrome, disorientation, hallucination, visual, neurotoxicity, renal impairment, sepsis. CYTOSINE dosage: 100 MG/M2 DAILY INJ. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE, CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE, CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE, CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE, CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE, CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE, IDARUBICIN, DAUNORUBICIN. Patient died.
