Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, prophylaxis and was treated with DAPSONE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: anaemia, dermatitis exfoliative, pruritus. DAPSONE dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, DIGOXIN, EFAVIRENZ, EMULSION, ENALAPRIL MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

DAPSONE dosage: 100 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ATOVAQUONE. Patient died on 05/16/2007.
