Pharmacist from UNITED STATES reported DEMEROL problem on Jan 18, 2007. Male patient, 60 years of age, was treated with DEMEROL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: apnoea, blood pressure diastolic increased, heart rate decreased. DEMEROL dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VERSED. Patient died on 01/10/2007.

DEMEROL problem was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 31, 2007. Male patient, 70 years of age, weighting 166.0 lb, was diagnosed with procedural pain and was treated with DEMEROL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: rash erythematous. DEMEROL dosage: 25 MG Q5 PRN PAIN IM. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROCODONE, CARDIZEM, PROSCAR, ZETIA, ZOCOR, DECADRON, TORADOL, RESTORIL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 41 years of age, was diagnosed with pain, convulsion, depression and was treated with DEMEROL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: cardiac arrest, convulsion, disorientation, dizziness, toxicologic test abnormal. DEMEROL dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN, WELLBUTRIN. Patient died on 08/02/2005.
