Epzicom Side Effects Report #5451400-2Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported EPZICOM problem on Sept 05, 2007. Male patient, 35 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection and was treated with EPZICOM. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: anaphylactic reaction, anxiety, dizziness, dyspnoea, flushing, paraesthesia oral, pruritus, rash, throat tightness. EPZICOM dosage: 600MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN, REYATAZ. Patient recovered.
Epzicom Side Effects Report #5459505-7
EPZICOM problem was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 14, 2007. Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, antifungal prophylaxis, syphilis and was treated with EPZICOM. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: acute respiratory failure, bone marrow failure, c-reactive protein increased, cerebral toxoplasmosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, eating disorder, encephalitis, haemoglobin decreased, hyperthermia. EPZICOM dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, KALETRA, REYATAZ, VALIXA, FOSCAVIR, BAKTAR, DIFLUCAN, ROCEPHIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
