Pharmacist from UNITED STATES reported IODINE problem on Nov 08, 2007. Male patient, 87 years of age, weighting 110.5 lb, was treated with IODINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: nervousness. IODINE dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
Iodine Side Effects Report #5706492-X
IODINE problem was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Mar 31, 2008. Male patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, atrial fibrillation and was treated with IODINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: gingival bleeding, goitre, hyperthyroidism, insomnia, nervousness, palpitations, prothrombin time prolonged, temperature intolerance. IODINE dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, THIAMAZOLE, BETA BLOCKING AGENTS, DIGOXIN, PROPRANOLOL. Patient recovered.

Physician from UNITED STATES reported IODINE problem on June 21, 2007. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 146.4 lb, was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma and was treated with IODINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia, fatigue, increased tendency to bruise, myelodysplastic syndrome. IODINE dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TOSITUMOMAB, IODINE I, FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, ARANESP, IRON SUPPLEMENT, GLUCOSAMINE CHONDROITIN. Patient died on 10/01/2006.
