Female patient, child 11 years of age, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative and was treated with MESALAMINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: abdominal pain, asthenia, diarrhoea, fatigue, focal glomerulosclerosis, iron deficiency anaemia, nausea, nephritis interstitial. MESALAMINE dosage: 500 MG, 3X/DAY; TID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
