Physician from JAPAN reported MIGLITOL problem on Dec 28, 2006. Male patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with MIGLITOL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: alcohol use, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatic function abnormal. MIGLITOL dosage: DAILY DOSE:150MG. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN. Patient recovered.
