Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with periodontal disease and was treated with PERIOSTAT. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: bacterial infection, gastrointestinal infection, upper respiratory tract infection. PERIOSTAT dosage: 20 MG, QD, PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
