Pharmacist from UNITED STATES reported RETROVIR problem on Mar 30, 2007. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, hiv infection and was treated with RETROVIR. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: bone marrow failure, incorrect dose administered. RETROVIR dosage: 300 MG EVERY 12 HOURS ORAL.
