Male patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, tooth disorder, gastrointestinal stromal tumour and was treated with TOPROL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: aortic valve sclerosis, cardiac failure congestive, cardiomegaly, dehydration, dyspnoea, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatic failure, intubation, mitral valve stenosis. TOPROL dosage: 100 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with PROCARDIA, AMOXICILLIN, GLEEVEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/26/2006.
