Consumer or non-health professional from BRAZIL reported VIRACEPT problem on Jan 31, 2007. Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 3.75 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection and was treated with VIRACEPT. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: hyperthyroidism. VIRACEPT dosage: DAILY DOSE:2500MG. During the same period patient was treated with BIOVIR, AMITRIPTYLINE, DARAPRIM, FOLIC ACID. Patient recovered.VIRACEPT problem was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Feb 15, 2007. Female patient, weighting 9.35 lb, was diagnosed with hiv test positive and was treated with VIRACEPT. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: shoulder dystocia. VIRACEPT dosage: DAILY DOSE:2500MG. During the same period patient was treated with LAMIVUDINE, ZIDOVUDINE. Patient recovered.
