Health Professional from SPAIN reported ZIDOVUDINE problem on Aug 21, 2006. Male patient, 42 years of age, was treated with ZIDOVUDINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: fatigue, infection in an immunocompromised host, lipodystrophy acquired, meningitis aseptic, oral candidiasis. ZIDOVUDINE dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INDINAVIR SULPHATE, LAMIVUDINE, ABACAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.ZIDOVUDINE problem was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 19, 2006. Male patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection cdc category c3 and was treated with ZIDOVUDINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: csf protein increased, fatigue, headache, lipodystrophy acquired, meningitis aseptic, oral candidiasis, pyrexia, retroviral infection. ZIDOVUDINE dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LAMIVUDINE, INDINAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
