I had eye surgery last year. One of the eye drops after surgery really really stung. I checked out the ingredients and it had boric acid. WHAT? I had two other surgeries on one eye and we're watching the pressure in that eye. The last time I saw the dr, the pressure was up a little. He prescribed Combigan. It stung just a little so I looked up the ingredients -- hydrochloric acid. What purpose does acid serve?
