I'm trying to locate a good Pain Doctor/Clinic. I missed the landing ramp on a dirt bike jump about 25 years ago and have had problems with back pain ever since. I have seen a "Pain Specialist" who performed Facet Blocks and Epidurals using Steroids injected into my back, which were helpful for a few days on the Blocks and longer on the Epidurals; but they never put me in full relief to where I could sleep through a whole night. My pain doctor gives me the 50 mcg/hr patches Fentanyl, plus 10-325 Percocet 120 count for a months supply. But the problem is the patch doesnt do it much for me, I have to take double the amount of percocet to calm down my severe back and neck pains, and my abdominal pains. Should I add another patch to make it 100 mcg or take double the Percocet? 120 a month = about 4 a day, but I chug down about 8-10 just to bare the pain. What's stronger 2 patches, or double the percocet intake?
