Hey! I have been having some really bad problems with acne for the last 6 years, as I am a teenager and nothing seems to work. I would rate my acne on a moderate/severe level, and I need some advice. The pills I have already taken are: 1) Minocycline 2) Doxycycline 3) Oracea 4) Accutane (Isotretinoin) 5) Spironolactone 6) Loestrin 24 FE (birth control to try and control my acne) 7) Cephalexin The topical treatments I have used are: 1) Proactiv 2) Retin-A 3) Duac 4) Atralin 5) Acanya 6) Evocl

I am currently on Triaz Cleanser 3% (Benzoyl Peroxide), Evoclin (Clindamycin), and Differin (Adapalene). I use Triaz Cleansers in the morning and in the evening. but i am not sure when to use evoclin and differin.. which one should i use first? also, doesn't benzoyl peroxide and differin cancel each other out... anyone with answer please help.

Ok i use Benydon Peroxide 10%, evoclin and epiduo for my skin and when i wake up in the morning i look like a tomato, my face is beat red. Its embarrising. I have acne and I have tried a lot of different types of acne medicines that doctor has prescribed such as Differin, Evoclin, and Benzoyl Peroxide 5%, and now another one that has Benzoyl Peroxide 5%. for the last few days, i have noticed that my skin is just really, really, really dry and it's to the point where it hurts to move my mouth. It's mostly around my chin/mouth area. I have been taking Benzaclyn for my face and its really cleared up. But my back acne is really bad and I've been taking Evoclin for about a week now and it hasn't changed much. I've used many treatments; Neutrogena, ProActiv, Clean&Clear. The only thing that worked was something subscribed by the dermalogist called evoclin.. It worked the first year but then my acne came back and they treatment didn't work. I know that everyone's skin is different and that acne treatments only work for some people. I have a prescription from my dermatologist for this thing called evoclin, which helps clear up acne. The problem is, this stuff costs $200 (yea whoa!) to refill! The derm. says it's infected hair follicles. It gets worse at night. It seems to be real bad in the summer. I use Dove to wash with. I use perfume free Cheer. To stop the itching, I use lotions for poison ivy. I have a perscription for Evoclin an antibiotic foam & Desoximetasone for the itching too but it doesn't seem to work. I have acne this is a problem mostly on my chest and shoulders. For the past 2-3 months I went from minocycline 50mg for one month. Then for the past month doxycycline 150mg and Evoclin foam wash and dove soap. My routine is basically Dove soap in the morning, Evoclin in the shower, and dove soap at night and the medication.
