My Pdoc is tapering me off of 80mg of Geodon. I have been taking 60mg for a week with no problems, and yesterday I lowered my dose to 40mg. In 5 days I will lower to 20 and then 5 days later to 0. What type of withdrawal effects can I expect. I am also on buspar, clonazepam, lamictal, and temazepam. Once I'm fully off the Geodon, I am supposed to start taking risperidone. I am bipolar II, suffer from GAD, severe panic attacks and depression.

Two days ago my doctor said it was okay to take 160 mg of geodon even though i usually take 80. I had to go to an emergency hospital because i had trouble breathing, and was exhausted but could not sleep. Then the next day I felt okay but all day I couldn't sleep. So how long until this medication is out of my system so I can get some sleep?

I know I've read some supplements can have adverse affects on medications, like I was taking something before that said not to take St. John's Wort with it. I have been diagnosed with severe social anxiety but lately I've noticed that I get severe anxiety at random even while laying in bed. I get bad muscle spasms and twitches when this happens. I currently take Klonopin 1mg twice daily and am being forced by my mother to take Geodon 40mg once before bedtime.
