I have Scabies. I picked it up six months ago. I have seen 11 doctors, 2 were specialists. I have spent thousands of dollars on prescription stromectol (ivermectin tablets) and permethrin via prescribed 5% cream and even 45% permethrin Advantix for dogs! My puppy as well as myself have been treated. I was given Stromectol in pill form by my dermatologist and the puppy received an injection of ivermectin. We were both treated on Tuesday (12/9/08) for the first time. How will I know the medications are taking effect on the mites in both the puppy and myself?
