Every time right before I get sick my throat starts to hurt when I swallow.. I just started feeling it today and I'm trying my hardest not to get sick. I'm going home in a week from a long vacation and I haven't seem my friends in three months so I plan to be out constantly but that won't happen if I'm sick. I know about that zycam stuff and drinking hot tea will help but I hate zycam and have been drinking plenty off tea and making sure I get enough sleep. Is there anything else I can do!?

When I blow my nose, there's kind of a stench. I brush & mouth wash a lot but what's going on up there? I felt a cold coming on a few weeks ago so I used Zycam swabs...for a while I thought using those caused the smell. But I've stopped and this is still going on. No symptoms--I feel fine.

Okay so I have been through 4 rounds of antibiotics. I have tried Zyrtec, Calaratin, Tylenol Sinus, tons of vitamin C, garlic pills, nose spray, Zycam.....I am literally at my whits end with this. i am being induced on thursday and i woke up this morning with a scratchy throat in the past i have always started taking zycam to kill a cold before it starts but is it ok to take it if im pregnant? i want to knock this cold out so im not in the hospital in labor and sick. Apparently this product is not tested or aproved or what ever, and now i've read some where that it can cause PERMENAT DAMAGE to your sense of smell! so if if you are planning on, or are using this product I would look it up, and be aware of all the side effects. you know how it cleans the sinuses almost too well, so well it like hurts, well i'm assuming that's where it causes the damage. so i just wanted to put a warning out there, oh and if you could list any other products that could work,

First off i have what feels like the FULL ON flu! My mom had it and then my infant daughter. I have what feels like fluid in my ears, a stuffy/runny nose, an itchy, painful when swallowing throat, a deep chest heaviness accompanied with coughing, and a fever. Hi ladies :) I am so confused right now. I am on cycle day 64, which means I haven't had a period since November 1st. I have taken pregnancy urine tests and all have been negative. I will get a blood test on Monday if AF doesn't show. On December 2nd, around the time my period usually comes I had cramping, gas, bloating and discharge. I went through 2 packages of pads because I swore AF was right around the corner! And she never showed...I had cramping for about 2 weeks and constant discharge.

He's been taking OTC flu meds for 1 week, with a Zycam swab in the morning and multivitamens. I also have a vaporizer in his room. No improvement. I know I've seen info about cold remedies prolonging your cold because they slow the expulsion of the germs from your body by suppressing your coughing, sneezing, etc. But what about supplements like Airborne and Zycam? Ok well before I went to bed, I started to get a sore throat. Then I went to bed, and here I am at 3 am, with my throat hurting twice as much as before. I started feeling bad last night after eating a restaurant. Thought it might be a food allergy. I have taken Zycam nasal spray, and sudafed today. My husband is taking me out to a dinner tonight with some friends, and I want to feel GOOD when we go out. Is there anything I can do to feel better before tonight? Can anyone tell me the quickest way to get rid of the common cold? I have itchy watery eyes (my kids think I'm crying), runny nose that won't stop, coughing, stopped up nose (doesn't make sense that's it's running too), headache, etc. Help me please.
