Activelle

I experience the same, very tender breasts. What did the gyno say?

I have had a total hysterectomy ( suffered from sever endometriosis for 25 years) and have been on Livifem but now changed over to Activelle. I read that it should only be given to women who have not had a hysterectomy. Anyone in the same position?

I've been on Activelle for about 4 months now and until now, very positive results. I am 52, have irregular frequent periods and bleeding after intercourse. I've been examined by a gynocologist and put on activelle. It stopped my periods, increased vaginal lubrication and had positive sexual side-effects. The plan is to wean me to activelle LD next cycle, but now I have developed pretty signifigant breast pain,-- like when you are pregnant. They are swollen and hurt now for about 2 - 3 weeks....calling gyno next week

I've been on activella for 10 years, took myself off. i sleep better no heartburn all the time and regular bathroom habits. 1'm 55 and will take hormones no more!

I'm 50 years old, and recently my regular menstrual cycles have stopped. After usual diagnostic procedure, the gynegologist and the endocrinologist strongly advised me to start Activelle. Apart from the shorter vaginal bleeding on the day 14th, in the third week of the therapy a modest but tolerable anxiety was persisting the whole week. However, on the day 24th following the start of the therapy I experienced a sudden and intensive panic attack which was solved by 5 mg of diazepam p.o. I have never had similar emotional problems before. Specialists adviced me not to stop the therapy. In the following day or two I felt better already.

I have just started Activelle after going off it for a few months - tried it for about 25 days before.  I have severe dryness on the outer rims of my lips - can activelle be the cause?

I have been taken HRT for 25 years that includes Activelle for aprox. 20 years
and have only good positive experiences to say about it.
I have heard that some doctors recommend getting off the drug because of danger to developing breast cancer. But so far it seems to work for me, and I have not had any menopause symptoms.

 I AM 35 YEARS AND ON AN PERIMONOPAUSE AND JUST STARTED ACTIVELLE A FEW WEEKS AGO .I THEN STARTED HAVING SEVERE ABDOMINAL PAINS LIKE MENSTUAL PAIN AND DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO STOP OR CONTINUE.

Good with menopause systems,except it does not have progesterone benefits, therefore I am switching back to progesterone and estradiol combination.
