Aggrenox

I am 70 yrs old and have been taking Aggrenox for 5 years and 6-7 mnths ago the lightest bump on my two arms from the elbow to the hand blood patches under the skin appeared and the slightesst scratch drew blood and my shin pealed, then a redness in the same areas started, minor cuts didn't heal for months and my resistance was diminished and I had to get antibotics and each event caused brown scars and as cut healed the skin scab was dark wth redness around the scab for months. The remainder of my body did not suffer the same as my arms in fact non-of the problems ocurred on the rest of my body. I am now stopping aggrenoz as it is actually clotting the blood in my arms under the skin.

I thought I had a cold with stopped up nose and heaviness in my chest. Also thought I had a stomach issue due to something I ate. Spent money on decongestants, inhalers, antiacid. Then I woke up three days in a row with big hives on my buttocks, back of legs and belly. Then I decided I had an allergy and all the above was due to the allergy. My new medication was aggrenox. Bingo!! I stopped the aggrenox and now take baby asprin instead. I am back to myself.

whether this drug is given 'severe pain' muscle heads?

AGGRENOX SIDE EFFECT.  PATIENT WAS PRESCRIBED PLAVIX.  AGGRENOX WAS SUBSTITUTED.  PATIENT SUFFERED ACUTE RESPIRATORY FAILURE AND CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST.  PATIENT WAS HOSPITALIZED.  PATIENT DIED 3/29/09.

i had been taking aggrenox for eight months after a mini stroke, and have been having severe shortness of breath and cough...i stopped taking it two weeks ago and now breathing much better.

i just started taking aggrenox and have pressure like pain in chest i was taking plavix
