Atenolol

Wife has been on Atenolol for 5 years and has been off for one year. Experience random and severe back pain. Can it be related. Back pain started after discontinued use.

8-)Have been taking atenolol and lisinipril for about 6 years, and before now did not realize the extreme itchiness in toes and fingers that started at first and now has turned in very cold and numb toes and feet and getting worse. I now believe it's from these two medications after reading others' sstories. My doctor has said I have neuropathy and that many older people get it (I'm 79) but now I think it's side effects I 've been putting up with. I'll have to see what happens if I go off of these meds, as it probably has held me over after the double bypass I've had the 6 years ago, with was one blocked artery that was too small to work on.

Seem to be having more palpatations when i take this atenolol as it drops my heart rate down to 44 beats per minute does not take my blood pressure down I have to take another drug to bring down the blood pressure . . . really concerned was given this drug for arithmeia does not seem to be correcting the problem sinking feeling in the chest a lot of the time breathing problems. I also have problems with low blood sugar from stomack surgery I had years ago

rashes appear after 7 days mostly on leg and arms

I have certain days of fatigue and I have constant chest congestion.  How much can be attributed to the Atenolol or to my medical condition (atrial fibrulation)--I do not know.

Started on the drug and from day 1 my feet felt like they were in the deep freeze. I have never had cold feet but had to use a heating pad  on them in order to get to sleep. Terrible feeling

it is the worst drug ever made  made meel feel like been run over

Severe dizziness

my daughter has just been prescriped Atenolol for treating her dyspepsia. When I picked up the prescription at the pharmacy. They had said that they have never heard of Atenolol being used to treat dyspepsia so now Im confused. I have a call into her doctor but was wondering if anyone has heard of this before?
