I used Aveeno shave cream for years. Then I had a couple of dispensers that suirted out, rather than a gel. Shortly thereafter, I started getting what appeared to be large pimple-like, puss filled sores. They would start, then drain in a couple of days. I'm over 60 and well beyond teenage pimples. I have been getting them everry couple of weeks for the past several months. Since they come and drain so fast, it hard to get into the dermotologist for a culture. My dermatologist has me on immediate access the next time I get one.

About this time the Aveeno shave gel was removed from the market and I haven't seen it since.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

I bought the advanced Aveeno facial skin care kit/package. Specifically it w as the Aveeno "Positively Ageless" 4 step skin care package. Well, within a week I had strange bumps on my neck, on the back of my shoulders and patches of discoloration on my face. I developed weird bumpy rashes as well on the upper back of my neck beneath the hairline. Worse of all, my eyelids and the skin directly beneath my eyes turned red, swelled up, and the skin near my mouth and chin actually got worse - as in drier than before I used Aveeno. Actually, the skin near my mouth and chin dried out so much, that now there are very visible lines around my mouth. My eyes began to tear up alot and they often itched. I discontinued using Aveeno's products as soon as I realized what was happening, but it is taking a long time for my face to heal. Needless to say, I am very upset, because I DO NOT have hyper-sensitive skin - at least I didn't before I started using Aveeno.  Thanks to Aveeno, I've had a miserable 2-3 weeks this past month. I only hope my eyes heal as they are still red and "angry" looking. My forehead was okay as others have noted themselves, but the injury to my eyes and the damage to my facial skin in general are probably worthy of a lawsuit. Aveeno's skin care kit should be taken off the market and examined by the FDA. I was so alarmed, that I "googled" Aveeno skin problems, etc, and found this site. I feel compelled to post here just so I can warn other unwary would-be customers to avoid Aveeno's facial line like the plague - literally. My eyes have been burning for a week now! Buyer beware! Thank you.

I used aveeno and I start notice red spots on my face, they did not get my attention right away. My eyes kept have so much tears day and night. It did not get my attention because I do get teary eyes in the sun or wind and cold weather.  But the tears this time were so much.  Then, it came toa point that I start itching on my face, so I looked closely in the mirror and noticed that there is something going on under the skin,,,broken capilaries. So I stoped right away using aveeno, went to the skin doctor. I still have the red spots and its been two months already. I dont know if they ever will go away. Tiny caplilaries got damaged beneath the my face skin. By the way ,only the face got affected, not the forhead or the neck.
