    I have been on Avonex for about a year now.  I have experienced very severe side effects including migraines, fever, joint pain, nausea. It only lasted for a day.  Now I feel like total crap starting around Tuesday. I take my shot on Sunday.  Tuesday I feel feverish, cold sweats, muscle fatigue, headaches.  It stops around Friday or Saturday aand when I take my shot on Sundays the Tuesday after it starts

    At first I just felt tired for about 5 hours, then horrible flu like symptoms. Pain, migraine headache, fever, muscle aches, general feeling of pain and discomfort and fever, worsening of colitis symptoms.

    It was a horrible experience. I had to debate whether I want to stay with it or not.
