I have blepharitis. …
I have blepharitis. I also use frequent washing with baby shampoo and scrubs. My MD prescribed AzaSite 2 times per day. The pain was so bad (I am not a wimp) that he then changed me to TobraDex for two times per day. Of my symptoms; red lids and eye, lid swelling, and itching the swelling is somewhat reduced and the itching has almost gone. I also suffer more than before with dry eye. Also, AzaSite dries into a hard membrane and seals the eyelids during a nights sleep. When I awake during the night I use liquid tears which helps some.

I was treated with Azasite…
I was treated with Azasite for having congentivitis, Used the product for two weeks . No inprovement probably even worse. Tried it again for a week hoping it would work some time soon. Could not take it any londer my eyes were getting so dry could not keep my eyes open. Desided to go to my opthomologist and he told me i didnt have conjuntivitis but severe case of dry eye. By the way the first doctor was an optomotrist. My eyes have never felt so dry. Never had a problem with my eyes like that. Could the Azasite caused the eyes to dry that much that iam on Restasis now? nancy
