  • have been on Bicor for 6…

have been on Bicor for 6 months.Commenced on 2.5 mgm daily, have had all sorts of ill effects. Dizziness, headaches, chest discomfort, tiredness, bradycardia (as low as 47 bpm) breathlessness (especially on exertion) , depression, and generally feeling most unwell.
Blood pressure bounces around, and has been as low as 103/53.
Tried splitting the dose to 2 x 1.25 per day, but symptoms persist.
Does anyone else share such experiences ??? Doctors seem not to accept/advise of theses problems.

  • I just started with this…

I just started with this tablet, 2.50mls for 2 weeks and then a full tablet 5mls, yesterday. I would like to know if any of you knows about any alternative medicine to treat a weak muscle heart. I do very easely suffer from shortness of breath due to a leaking valve in my heart and also I get nauseas from anything and everything so I guess this tablet it's not going to be my best friend... I will give a week trial and see how I go but I have been trying on the web if there is anything to help me with my problem beside this Bicor tablet. I will discuss with my specialist about other options and I will put it on this site. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. Just in case my email is: crisnick@rock.com
    Thank you

  • I became a cardiac cripple…

I became a cardiac cripple on bicor...started with all the side effects of sleep disturbance and nausea and extreme tiredness but the really scary things were the increase in irregular heart beats, could not walk up even a small incline without being extremely breathless so exercise tollerance very poor and weight increased that compounded my problem. I kept taking it advised by the cardiologist until several months ago when I collapsed at work after walking up some stairs...I then found I also had some renal failure. I gradually reduced the bicor and found I felt so much better...now off it for about a month...and cannot believe how good I feel. Weight reduced, able to go up stairs and hills and heart rate regular again...feel full of energy....blood tests showing now renal function back into normal limits. Never again for me!
