Bisacodyl

I just spent one of the worst nights of my life, after taking 3 5mg tablets (as instructed on the packet). Extreme upper abdomen pain, then cold sweats, accompanied by dry heaves. It took me about 4 hours (and 7 trips to the bathroom, not counting vomiting and heaves) before the pain subsided. It´s now been 24 hours and I just started eating again, but every time I take a bite, it´s another trip to the bathroom. I threw out the box. Terrible time.

I had received free samples of Dulcolax laxative tablets and took one two nights ago around 10PM. I woke up in the morning with moderate cramping, and while on my commute was feeling uncomfortable. I had jury duty that morning and as soon as the case began, I started feeling incredibly nauseous and hot, as well as crampy, and hobbled embarrassingly to the bathroom. There I stayed for 30 minutes hunched over the toliet on the cold tile floor, stripped down to my tank top as I was dripping in sweat and praying that the excruciating cramps would end (most of the time 5-10 seconds long, with a sometimes wet gurgling noise and pain so bad it's hard to imagine). I have never been in worse pain in my life. And during jury duty! A jury member notified the warden that I had been in the bathroom a long time, and she came in and asked if I needed an ambulence and excused me for the day. I got myself home and had a few more hours of severe cramping . The day was capped off by one episode of diarhhea around 7PM. All I ate was a piece of bread that day. I have thrown out ALL samples, and will never take again.

The box I have says nothing about not taking it with milk - I took 2 5mg pills and feel horrible almost 24 hours later.  Very watery bm - still don't really feel relived.  60 year old female.  Wonder how long I'll feel crummy.

jay dee..u cant take bisacodyl with milk..it will reverse the effect n make u feel unconfortable..plz read the n get medical description 1st.u cant take milk 4hour before taking the pill n 4 hours after..i hope this helps.

I am a senior 76 yrs took two 5mg bisacodyl coated tablets first day good results next morning next day took same with soy milk about 2pm then about 8pm had so much pain and weakness thought I was not going to wake up next morning although had a good bowel movment and still have some chest and stomach pain am is this a normal reaction also have not had any food yet
