  • Anyone experiencing bad side…

Anyone experiencing bad side effects from Botox please google Botox Support Community and let other people know why they shouldn't get Botox - there is also a lot of support for people dealing with these side effects on the site..........I am at 12 months and still not well.......Botox is definitely a drug not to be taken lightly!

  • I was treated for migraine…

I was treated for migraine with Botox injections in my forehead, scalp, and neck, at three month intervals. The only side effect experienced after the first two treatments was neck pain that dissipated after approx 3-4 weeks. However, after my third treatment I experienced many negative side effects, in addition to neck pain: flu-like symptoms such as swollen tender glands, body aches, low grade fever, and dizziness, in addition to slight eyebrow droop, the inability to raise my eyebrows, and saggy upper eyelids, (as I am still experiencing these effects I cannot give their duration, but onset was one week after the injections.).

You posted in July. Did you symptoms wear off eventually? If so, how long did it take?

10 units of Botox between the brows. Symptoms came on 9 days later. Redness, itching, burning and hives all over my face. It's been 7 weeks. Any ideas when this will go away. Will I be waiting for 6 months until the botox wears off?

  • Severe Vertigo! Barely walking.…

Severe Vertigo! Barely walking. Seen 5 doctors including ENT , Emergency Room, Primary Care and find nothing! There needs to be education for doctors as they all deny this is caused from botox. THere is so much denial of this poison, botox. This same thing happened 3 years ago after botox also. What can you do to get it out of the system? What has to be done for doctors to help? Just waiting to wear off is the remedy while so deviliatated and unable to function? And shame on Allergen!

  • I had 30 units of Botox injected…

I had 30 units of Botox injected into forehead and crows feet for cosmetic purposes. If you want to know what my side effects were - Look up the symptoms of BOTULISM - and you'll find every one of them. Why doctors are dead set on believing Allergan's lies about it occurring when used for cosmetic reasons is beyond me. After I told the injecting physician that I had botulism from the 30 units of Botox he administered he denied that it was possible. He said "don't you think I'd hear of someone having botulism by now after I've injected it into 1000's of patients?"

    Well doctor - here's the thing ...
#1) You just DID hear from me -
#2) Given that I wasn't given the patient medication guide that explains the symptoms of botulism
I had no idea what was happening to me ... if I did ... I might have given you a call just to say
    thanks..
#3) Usually when I get SICK I call my general practictioner - NOT MY PLASTIC SURGEON

  • Got Botox Cosmetic injections…

Got Botox Cosmetic injections for my 11 lines 45 days ago. Having a really bad allergic reaction. Droopy brows and eyes, forehead pain, extremely dry eyes, mouth and skin and sudden high blood pressure. Weirdest side effect is that I can feel and sometimes see the botox moving down my face. Tingly, pin prick, dripping sensation started behind my eyes on day 2 and within minutes my brows and eyes drooped, then it got swollen above my brows, it moved to the outside of my brows and puffed up, moved to cheeks, then lower cheeks and upper lip puffed up then I got a big bump under my lower lip. My plastic surgeon said he has never seen anything like this. I read the warnings but I really didn't expect that I would get almost every side effect possible. Has anyone had these side effects and did they wear off as the Botox wore off. Getting worried here!

  • Forehead looks good but now…

Forehead looks good but now i can't breathe. So not worth it. Healed myself from asthma 10 years ago and now I'm suffering terribly almost every night I wake up unable to breathe, wheezing and sinus congestion. I refuse to take medicine because I don't want to get caught up in that cycle again. Hopefully it will stop when the botox is out of my system. I will NEVER do Botox again.
