Byetta

I have been on Byetta before and i told my Dr that i was going to stop taking it because i was having hard stools and it was extremely painful for me to go to the bathroom...I am on it again due to the fact that avandia is no longer available to me...i am trying to take precautions to not let it happen again...Lots of fiber, prunes, water, and apples...I hope it helps this time...Any one else have this problem?

Been on Byetta for 2 weeks, sickness 3 times first week, no sickness second week, felt full easily first week not so second week. Severe neck upper spine pain, and sweats. Anyone else had this pain? as i cant find it anywhere a known side effect.

i am also having sour stomach problems. i wnat to know if i should quite taking this. i have had a 40 lb weight loss with in 9 months so this does hekp with that. i don't want to continue having this stomach problem it worries me.

ON BYETTA FOR A YEAR NOW AND EXPERIENCING SEVERE SOUR STOMACH 3 OUT OF 4 WEEKS THIS MONTH. HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS NOW AND THIS IS THE WORST AS LASTS 3 _4 DAYS FOLLOWED WITH DIARREHA. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING PEPCID, PREVACID, TUMS, MYLANTA, GINGER ALE NOTHING WORKS! PLEASE HELP!

i had injection site reactions, with welts, hives and itching. My doctor thought that would go away and kept me on it for over a month, with no improvement of the reaction. I have GERD which is controlled well with Prilosec, but the Byetta caused extreme GERD with dry mouth, difficulty swallowing and clunking in my throat. My recent blood work showed a new B12 deficiency and anemia. I was jittery and anxious on Byetta. My blood sugar levels were better, but I felt awful and am now off of the medication.

Has any woman using byetta, had frequent urination and burning with all applicable tests showing negative for infection, etc?

I'm on my Second day of Byetta and I have been Nauseated, dizzy, Stomach cramps and severe dirrhoea. I'm unable to function daily because of the constant trips to the bathroom even if I haven't eaten. I was put on Victozin which I tolerated well but my insurance company would not pay for it before trying this product. I'm hoping my body tolerates it without severe complications that are worst than what I am expericing now. There is no way to ease the symptoms you just deal with them.

To Claudia..my sister had same symptoms..now on oxygen 24/7! If you haven't had a chest xray..get one pronto!! My sis has several serious lung issues now, including hypersensitvity pneumonitis which is listed as adverse reaction on Byetta website!

My husband took his first dose of Byetta on 12/29/06.   After his first does he was very nauseated, lost 10 lbs  and considered it a normal reaction.  After the second week everything went out of control.  He lost 30 pounds in three weeks . His liver function stopped, kidneys shut down and eventually his body went into complete shock and he died on 3/6/07 . 

wondering have been on Byetta for 6 months and am having nasal congestion and coughing.
