Campral has shocked me in a good way because it has made my longing for the hard liqour a bottle every three days, go away completely, I never knew it would be possible to stop the continual buying of something that is addictive but potential for damage as well. Now Campral is amazing, what a wonderful relief. It relaxes and stops my craving altogether. A winner I say.

I started taking Campral a few weeks ago and what you metion about your girlfriend is real.  The best way to describe the feeling is an emotional flatline -- great if you're trying to break a 12-pack a night habit, but not so great if you're trying to build a relationship.  Give her some time.  It's the drug, not her.  I certainly hope the women in my life give me some time, 'cause in the mean time, while on the Campral, there just ain't nothin' there.

i'm not personaly using campral but my girlfriend is. Before she started taking it she was very affedtionate, loving and had an incredible sex drive. I noticed ever since she started to take campral all of that went away. once the campral really started to kick in she was completely numb and had no feelings and told me she wasn't in love with my anymore and broke up with me but she still calls me babe and pet names and wants to see me everyday and she kisses me. she said she hate to not be able to see me. has anyone had a similar situation?
