Carvedilol

I have only been on Carvedilol for 7 days now. It has lowered my blood pressure some. Since I have CKD (missing left kidney, from cancer) and many other allergies to many medicines, this is being tried. The only thing that has developed today after being on it a week is a sharp pain in my stomach on the left side below the ribs. Does not hurt to breathe, just shoots a sharp pain when I bend over or move a certain way, and when I eat. Pepcid gets rid of the pain. Does that have anything to do with a side effect to this medicine?

I take 12.5 mgs 3 times a day, works great, if I happen to miss a dose my heart tells me, I take it then 30 mins good as new. I don't know what I would do without it except the obvious. My need for it came overnight and I can't stop taking it, I also take amioderone (works great but the cure is worse than the disease).

I have had no problems with Carvedilol. Despite a 5 lb. weight gain, I feel it is keeping me alive after my heart attack and stent placement four years ago.

I have developed a neck rash, and feel really nervous, mood swings...I hate this drug.

I had the same side effects as you. sometimes i have a slight pain in my back. I'm only 30 yrs.old and a non drinker and non smoker. I hate this stuff!!

1+ years on this carvedilol 12.5 once a day then increased to 2x per day. Asthma symptoms, tightness in the chest, confusion, dizziness, some heart palpitation, ringing in the ears, disorientation (the worst).
57 yr old male, reasonable health for a sedentary lifestyle. I need off of this drug. DO NOT LET THEM TELL YOU that the SEVERE side effects listed will just pass. They get worse.

I accidentally took Carvedilol 3.125mg (my mom's med). What will happen???

Intense itching, stopped against recomendations, before I tore my skin off ! Also have been unable to gain (needed) weight . No adverse reactions to stopping , daily blood pressure checks out slightly elevated, no longer feel fatigued, after taking Carvedilol,  I  previously just wanted to lay down . This has not seemed to be benificial in any way !

I'd rather be dead than take this drug. If this is the best the drug industry can come up with they should be shut down for good. They peddle misery for profit and should be forced to take their own medicine.

CHEST TIGHTNESS , SOB , NAUSEA +++ ,VOMITING, SEVERE FATIGUE AND LACK OF SLEEP
