Every medicine we take must have some side effect(s), whether known or unknown. I have been a sportsman, player of badminton, but since last 10 years could not continue game owing to professional activities i.e. long working hours. Now since last 4 months I started badminton again and found my body not responding in desired and comfortable way. Centrum to me experienced very good in this issue and now after 4 months of use I feel my self very good in badminton court. Side effect of Centrum I have noticed is the disturbance in stomach caused by excessive acidity which I overcome by increased use of vegetable and fruits.
As I mentioned in opening line Centrum like other medicines must have some side effects but even after a long effort I could not have any material proving sufficient to my worries and queries.

Hello I was never hypertension, but i have very low iron, my doctor prescribed for me to take centrum and ferrous fumarate 300mg to be taken twice a day, i have been using this for about a month, then last week i have experience a serious BP of 186/135 where i was being rushed to the hospital, right now i am thanking god for a second chance, my question to you is that, would those IRON medication be causing hypertension.

i am 51 now and i have been having centrum since 2006 i live in Baghdad, Iraq
it really cured my pains in the following respects:
1-i used to experience dizziness the first moments i feel hungry
2- i feel dizziness any cold air on my bold head, so i have to cover my head during the day in winter , also when i am in bed
3- i feel dizziness few moments under the sun.

All these symptoms were gone when i started to have centrum almost daily

nowadays, for the last 3-4 years , i have centrum about one to two times a week.

i really do not know anything wronge about centrum , i only have it during meals

I am 51 yeears old , male, I took half pill of centum one day , I felt uncomfortable and stopped taking it , I am not sure whether centrum is the real cause, bout 80% it is.

I'm a 70 year old female and began taking Centrum Silver for women.  After taking it in the morning the first time, I got in the car to run errands and within 10 minutes had to pull over due to nausea.  I was unsure what caused it so tried again next day.  Same thing happened.    I decided to try it after lunch and it did not cause nausea but I did get stomach pain.   An allergy doctor did say she thought the coating on vitamins caused problems sometimes.  Today I cut it in half and took one-half after lunch with no problem.  I'm wondering if it is worth the effort.  There must be vitamins that do not cause this grief.

i've stopped taking centrum after 1 week as i've had crippling stomach pains for 2 days and  days of headaches. I went to the hospital and the doctors and they couldn't figure out what was wrong after many tests, i stopped taking them and the pains stopped. Last time i'll try to be healthy!

I've been having bad ,bad headacks also .They seem like they want go away,& some chest pain ,so im going to stop taking them.Other than the headacks they seem to help I think. Can't seem to tell because of the headacks ,but I will know ,becaue I'm going to stop.

I started to take Centrum silver ultra's women, I was getting strong headaches all day long in a few hours after taking it. I did not realize what  was causing it until one day I forgat to take the pill and I did not get any headache that day.  I'm surprised to know about headache being one of the major side effects.  However, I would like to know what can cause the headache when taking a multivitamin.  I've never suffered from headaches until now. Should i stop taking it or should i continue to see if goes away. Can someone enlighten me please.  I'm a healthy person except for high cholesterol which I don't take medication for it..

Same thing here, i'm 24, when i take it after eating at around 12:30 PM, i start having hot headaches at around 4:00PM, works every single time. 

I think I should stop taking them probably.

low vitamin dosage in your body, lead to health problems and weakness..ect
but note that over dosage of vitamins also is not healthy. u should be balanced. And don't think it's good to keep on taking centrum or any vitamins for years..u should stop when it's needed than get back to them when u feel weaker. just ask a professional to tell u how to take ur vitamins.

and Lourimie, i advice u to take ginseng with ginko biloba, search for it, it will solve ur problem! hope this helps

i've been taken centrum for just few months. i have an anemia problem. i previously taken iron supplement but i stop it when i take centrum. but this centrum make me breathles most of the time so  i stop it and back my iron supplement. i have low sugar  somtimes only 4.0 or 4.2. i always feel tired and sleepy and somtimes when i talk to someone my mind goes empty.

 could anyone help this problem?

I have stomach ache right after eating centrum. I had been taking centrum for years, but since the past 2 yrs I have stomach aches after taking it. I usually take it at night time after eating. Please help.

I took centrum for almost one month.and I notice that my menstruation suddenly became abnormal in cycle..in short AMENNORHEA....until now iam almost 1 month and 3 days  delayed and took pregnancy test but the result was negative.IS there a possible that the cause of this delayed menstruation that im suffering now is the centrum multivitamins?

I had started taking Centrum for Colitis and it did help at first, but then within 3 days I started to get very dizzy with temper swings from mad to just confused.  I stopped the Centrum after a week of use and within 2 days all the symptoms were gone.
Never again will I take Centrum and I have started telling others about the problems, one of whom was taking Centrum with the same problems but never attributed it to the Vitamin.  He has now also stopped the Centrum and is feeling 100%.

after i took cetrum i felt dull stomach pain dyspepsia and some gastointestinal problems i stoped it and did not take it next day but i contaniue to have this problem for more than 4 days

i started taking cetreum and i have the same problems. I get real bad stomach aches to where i have to stop what im doing and go lay down for a while. I will ask for refund also this is ridiculous.

I started taking Centrum about two weeks ago and got severe headaches.  As soon as i stopped taking them the headaches stopped.
I will never buy or recoomend this brand again.

I get stomach pains after about 10 minutes of taking it. It happens even when I take it with my lunch (full stomach). Don't know what they're doing with this or the reason behind this, but I do remember that years ago (very likely before the new formula) I was taking it and didnt have any problems. I had stopped taking Centrum for some years and started recently again, and get stomach pains. I've tried at different points during the last ~1.5yrs and still have the same result (including today). The side-effects usually last for over 30 minutes with the worst of it about 15 minutes after taking pill. Will likely ask for a refund to the company or something...

i took centrum about 40 minutes ago, and i felt lighheaded and severe nausea to the point i felt like throwig up, now im experience upper abdominal pain. I did eat. its not the first time it happens, but this time im more then sure its centrum.

Within 5-10 minutes of taking Centrum I have severe upper abdominal pain to the point of throwing up in some cases. I am a athletic male college student and the fact that a multivitamin can cause me to become that nausious is alarming.

i take yesterday centrum,.then after an 3 hours till bedtime i feel weak beacuse i feel theres something wrong on my upper adominal stomach.,i know its from taking centrum.so,iam thinking maybe centrum is not right for me..or i dont know..iam goin to try again to take centrum..if i feel same iam not goin to take centrum again.

Centrum gives me so much energy, after 4 hours of sleeping my body is awake and ready to burn energy. This is off one tablet a day. But then my legs flared in a rash from toes to stomache. Started on my knees and spread over a few days and 3 weeks after taking centrum I was still flared. 'Citrus overdose' apparently.........???
