Cephalexin

I have been tired and nauseaus since I started taking cephalexin. My doctor does not seemed concerned. I have taken 6 different antibiotics for a prostate and bladden infection and nothing has helped. I am taking multax which limits the antibiotics I can take. I can't get my urologist and cardiologist to communicate and come up with a solution. Any advice. I plan to get another urologist who might put more effort into my cure.

Was prescribed 14 pills - one pill twice a day for an animal bite. By day 3 the bite was healing nicely but I was already feeling crappy (a little dizzy, tired, generally not so good) so I stopped taking the meds altogeher. Now - four full days later I have been having bloody mucas in my stool all day today. It's freaking me out.

One more pill to go before I finish my dose of Cephalexin for Cellulitis. First of all, the symptom worsened within the first 24 hours - both the doctors failed to tell me that. It did eventually work and about 48 hours later, the swelling and redness from Cellulitis started to decrease. The side effects were not severe, but, at worst, I experienced nausea, stomach ache, diarrhea, and depression (followed by the most whacked out dreams). This is not quite the drug from hell but I am very much ready to finish my dose.

I am currently on Cephalexin for a kidney infection. I have so far suffered from joint pain, headaches, unusual vaginal pain and itching, dizziness and discovered a sore throat this morning. I plan to finish my dose but it seems like I'm suffering worse now than with my kidney infection.

weight gain, around legs and waist. like 3-4 kgs in two weeks...reallys strange.

Used it for three days, as was prescribed for skin rash. Experienced severe pain in abdomen, experienced diarehoa, head aches, dizziness and a small loss of appetite.

Was prescribed cephalexin for urinary tract infection. Had nasty blistery red rash on inside of fingers. Had been told to take 3 per day but had only taken 2 per day. Finally linked the rash with the antibiotics and have stopped taking. Rash seems to be subsiding.

i had bloody stools after taking cephalexing for like 3 days, i called my doctor and was told to stop taking it for a weekm I started taking cephalexing due to and ear bacteria , they will change treatment after a week , i stopped having bloody stools right after i stopped taking the medicine, Houston Texas

Also forgot to mention I was put on this bc I am allergic to Sulfa and it is in a lot of bladder infection antibiotics they usually prescribe. Also, there was a chance I could be pregnant so this is why this one was chosen.

After being put on this for Bladder Infection..I experience lip swelling about 3 days in. It was not terrible but uncomfortable. I had NO other signs of anything else. If you pulled up and down my lips you could also see some red. I stopped taking after 6 days. I wrote off the lips too being at the beach and not enough water. I have a call in to the Dr. Now to relieve current lip situation. I'm hoping simple Benadryl. We shall see.

After 5 doses - experienced extreme blood shot eyes and a tender head to the touch.  Symptoms totally gone after a day&1/2.  Wow, didn't see that in the small print.

I gained 9 pounds in three weeks and has upper abdominal pain.

i have been taking cephalexin and haven't gotten my period when i was supposed to. Does this drug have anything to do with it?

I have been taking Cephalexin 500mg for a week due to car wreck elbow injury.  Prescribed for possible infection.  I am somewhat constipated, and have gained 11 pounds...  Is this normal, and will the weight gain go away when I get off the meds?
