Clindamycin

I am taking 2 300mg. capsules every 6 hrs. because of a very infected finger . When I take it I get a real bad heartburn for the first couple of hours and I take it with food and lots of water

headaches, red rash on legs, fatigue

I was given this medicine for 2 absessed teeth. 300mg 4 times aday. By the third day I felt as if I was having a heart attack. I also had a severe headache that I could not seem to get rid of. I have had to take many different antibiotics over the years and have never had this problem. This happened on a Sunday and I stopped taking the pills and called my dentist on Monday morning, he called in the Z pack and I am feeling much better, just the day after. I noticed everytime I took the meds I got worse with each one. I will never take this again. I am allergic to penicillin which is why he perscribed in the first place. I have been in the hospital before only to find out that my heart beats too slow. So this scared me.

i have been tacking clindamycin 150 for about 5 days for a infection in my tooth. but my chest fells like I'm about to have a heart attack but it only happens when i take the pill so should i stop taking ??? :'(

After taking the Clindamycin Capsules, I have nausea then it feels as if my chest is about to burst open, like i am about to choke which lasts at least 3 hours. I never felt like this in my life. Help!

Clindamycin has caused me such horrible heartburn. It effects everything I drink or eat. I have burning in my throat and tightness in my chest tonight as well. My ears itch and burn deep inside them and they are red and hot to the touch. Horrible feeling to have all this from an medication!

I was given Clindamycin for a tooth abcess. Before extraction.  I have been experiencing dizziness, severe headaches, and now my eyes hurt when I take the pill, I now have black spots on the inside of my eyeball and dark red blood vessels that are showing up on my eyes..I have never had anything like this before with my eyes. Almost as if they are swelling up.  I told the Dentist about this and they said its because of the infection. The tooth is out now, I have no more pain but I still have to take the antiobitic. I am scared to take anymore.

I have MRSA again and have been on Clyndamycin 2 150 mg tablets 4 times/day for a week. I am having very severe chest pain and everytime I eat anything it burns so bad that I can't keep eating. Also having bad abdominal pain. I have Behcet's syndrome and a fairly raw G.I tract is normal, this is beyond that though. Any ideas?

I've been taking this medicine 900mg 3 times a day for MRSA. This is my second antibiotic. I'm allergic to Sulfa so they are having to experiment with medications for me. The MRSA isn't healing and now I have a very bad rash on personal areas. Is this normal?

I was given Clindamycin for a tooth that was bothering me along with some vicodin. 300mg 4 times a day for 7 days. I am familiar with taking vicodin but not Clindamycin. The clindamycin caused me severe stomach aches, nausea and vomitting. When taking this drug, I advise to take it with food.

I was given Clindamycin (150 MG Capsule) to take for 10 days 4 times daily for tooth extractions aftercare.
It gives me splitting headaches and acid reflux  .

I was given Clindamycin (150 MG Capsule) to take 2 every 8 hours. Was prescribed for a dental infection. I have taken the drug for two days and am experiencing severe heartburn, muscle spasms and cramping, chest pain and headache.

This is day 9 of a 10-day regimen of Clindamycin 300 mg. I woke up this morning with a rash all over my body that is probably linked to the medication. It was prescribed for a bacterial infection that developed in my right hand (from either a sticker from yard work or an insect bite). The redness and swelling went down completely two days after I was given an initial injection of the drug and took the pill three times per day.
Can I treat this rash with benedryl? The blisters are also in my mouth and my throat is mildly sore.
