i took 2 pills because 1 didnt work for me... ill never take this pills again i had horrible pain i dont recommend it

Worst experiance ever i thought i was going to die..i hve nver felt this way ever in my life i was glad to see there is more people out there with the same problem i thougt i had to go to the hospital after the way i felt..had really fast breathing ,dizzines nausea excessive sweating it was horrible i dnt recome d it to no 1 ..btw they were the equzte brand from walmart

This is the worst laxative I've ever taken! I noticed I'm not the only one who broke out into a fit of sweats and had horrible stomach pains. I thought I had the the flu the first time I took this product; the symptoms persisted for a couple of days after the fact! I waited another week to take this and the same symptoms popped up. I'm switching back to Equate's vegetable laxative, it's mild and friendly...and not coated like an M&M. I'm partially worried Kroger's product may have caused some serious damage; the bowel movements were not normal (liquidy) even though I took only one each time. Did I mention this product also made me dry heave?

I took this product last night and woke up almost an hour ago with TERRIBLE stomach cramps. I'm still experiencing them. This product doesn't do this to my mom, but it does it to me..

I do not recommend Correctol AT ALL! 

My mother has the same reaction..its a bad product which is not recommended

Btw, I meant I went to bed around 10 p.m., not a.m.

The FDA should take this drug off the market!  I took one pill last night before I went to bed around 10:00 a.m.  I woke up around 5:00 a.m. with severe stomach pain. It was horrible!  I had a bowl movement about an hour later was hoping that would be the end of the stomach pain.  Well, it's 4:30 p.m. now and my stomach has felt absolutely terrible all day!  It is so painful.  I never have stomach problems like this.  I will never take that pill again.  It is poison to the body!!!!

I took 2 of the dollar generals brand and i had cramping  and gas which was normal since i couldnt go, somethign had to give, well 6 hours later, i had the shits. i ve gone twice and im fine for the most part, just dehydrated, im not sure i wanna try to eat

I took Kroger Women's Laxative Tablets, which are virtually the exact same thing as Correctol.
WARNING; TAKE ONLY ONE.
I took 3 a while ago because I was severely blocked up and over-reacting about the severity of my case. That was super painful and I cramped up really bad and was dry-heaving. I layed on the floor for a good 30 minutes cause I felt too weak to get up.
However, I took 1 this time and the cramps were super super mild, comparable to mild menstrual cramps. Hopefully this is good news to someone because bisacodyl always gets horror stories. The onset was gradual and I knew when the medicine was gonna take effect. The box says 6-12 hours but I took it at 4 and it started effect at 7. I'm 15 though so I have a fast metabolism. All in all, it works nicely when you're too blocked up.

I took two pills at 1am, at 6:30am I woke up with the worse pain in the world. I went to the bathroom and broke out into a sweat so bad I soaked a sweatshirt. I crawled out of the bathroom (because standing up made me WAY to dizzy) an hour later and crawled into bed. The pain was horrible - I then could not warm up (even after changing my sweat drenched clothing). Around 9:30am, I got up again and went to the bathroom, I was in there another hour plus. All day long I have been cramping and wanting to throw up. I have never had such a bad reaction. I had lap band belt surgery several months ago - I don't know if that aided the pain issue or not. but I doubt it.

I took one correctol tablet at 12:30 am and woke up at 5:45am with severe abdominal pain and having the feeling that I needed to go to the bathroom. So I got up and went to the bathroom. I sat on the toilet until 7am with severe abdominal pain. I have never felt pain so bad in my life. I also started vomiting. But I finally broke loose and was able to have a bowel movement. All day I was having a little stomach pain whenever I had to use the bathroom again and my stool starting becoming bloody.
Worse experience ever! I will never take correctol again.

Took one pill last night.  Woke up at 4am with severe abdominal and back pain.  I started sweating and becoming very clammy and dizzy.  I got up to try and use the bathroom.  I felt like I was about to faint.  Had severe pains for about an hour and I thought I was going to die...for real.  I have never been in so much pain in my life.  It hurt so bad I was praying for god to either take me then or make the pain go away. Scariest most painful event i have ever experienced!

Horrible severe stomach pain, I couldn't even speak to tell my husband what was wrong, felt like fainting. It went away after about half an hour of excruciating pain. very scary experience... Never taking it again.

I had the worst pain I had ever experience in my life. I had a continuous pain for about half an hour then it went away all of a sudden. Never taking this correctol again.

im online making sure what i expierienced has happened to others, im glad it has. Absolutely the worst pain in my whole entire liife. NEVER EVER TAKING ANOTHER LAXATIVE AGAIN.

I took correctol 3 days after I gave birth to my daughter took 1 pill about 7pm went to bed, and woke up at 7:30 with stomach pains and needing to go to the restroom. Thats been 2 years ago, so i decided to take it again since I have not had a bowel movement in over a week, took 1 pill at 10pm and woke up at 2:30am with SEVERE stomach pain, so I went to the bathroom to see if I could have a bowel movement and I couldn't I just had terrible pain. So I tryed to go back to bed, after laying there in horrible pain I finally as able to get back to sleep. Well 5:30am rolls around and here I am awake again with even WORSE pain in my stomach so I went to the restroom, horrible pain, and still ahdn't went to the bathroom, I fell asleep on the toilet after sitting there for 45 minutes. 6:30 comes along, I wake up due to more stomach pains and all of a sudden start vomiting everywhere! My husband wakes up due to hearing me, comes in and finally after I'm able to go back to bed he tells me it reminded him of when I was in labor. It was awful and I will NEVER take Correctol again! At first I thought there was something wrong with me, like I was allergic to laxitives or something like that, until I got on here and read that everyone else had the same expeirence. WOW thanks alot correctol!!!

I took one the night before....  The next morning I woke up with extreme diarrhea and bright red bleeding from the rectum.

same thing here...took it once without incident a couple weeks ago and then tonight, i took a single pill and woke up 3 hours later on the dot in severe pain. i hadn't eaten much prior to taking it and two slices of plain bread seemed to help a little, but i'm actually on here just to see if this was common or if i needed to go to the hospital. pain subsided within about 30 minutes. pills should be hitting the trash can in 3...2....1...

I don't know why this happened to me, but I took only 1 pill, not the 3 pill maximum.  I woke up in the night cramping, and after getting fully awake I decided to try to go to the bathroom and see if that would help.  I proceeded to faint and ended up fracturing two of my facial bones (nose and supra-orbital something or other), getting the world's worst black eye to go along with it, and a concussion, not to mention 2 weeks of headaches from the injury.

I have a history of fainting without a known cause, but I guess I can add correctol to the list of things that will trigger it. 

That is exaclty what I had intended to write. 3am I had extreme stomache cramps.My face was flushed white and I was sweating and clammy. I seriosly thought I was going to die. I laid on the bathroom floor in this pain for a hour ,praying for God to help me.7am The major pain has supsided but I still have some cramping. Thanks for your posting. I was hoping this had not just happened to me.(sorry) I will NEVER take that again.

Im 43 yrs old female.. had taken correctol in the past usually just
had diaherrea.. but I took this medication twice this month.. bad
mistake.. first time it woke me up at 3 a.m.  with servere cramps , I
thought I was going to die..  but the pain eventually went away.. so silly
me .. 3 weeks later I took it again.. only to have it work quite quickly..
but pain was even worse..  I take natural herbal laxatives and never have
pain or cramping.. what the heck is in this stuff??

i have never taken this stuff until yesterday .. i took 3 pills, the highest reccomended dosage around 1pm and that was, to say the least- A HORRIBLE mistake. i started having sudden STRONG cramps yesterday about 6pm, followed by diarrhea that just sneaks up on you out of nowhere. all night long i was in agony - extreme nausea, my intestines feel as if they're unraveling inside of me. i also have a horrible headache. in general i feel like i have stomach virus.. the symptoms are very similar. worst. mistake. ever.
