Cortrosyn Reviews

I experienced vomiting within 1 1/2 hrs of injection.  (I researched later than it contains "mannitol" a form of artificial sweetener.)  Artificial sweetener has made me experience vomiting since it's early use dating back to at least the 1950's & l960's (such as liquid Pepto Bismol and the drink "Fresca").  Most alarming was the very painful headache which couldn't be reduced by an OTC pain med OR by a prescription pain killer.  After 10 hrs it finally receded.  Additionally, the next morning I woke to experience painful burning/reduced urination and a painful thumb joint on the same side as the Cortrosyn injection.
