    after a recent MRI of my painful knee - I have been told by the Orthopaedic Doctor that I need a knee replacement. at 70 years of age I have always been well - the only medication I take are vitamins & Creon ( for bad digestion) for the past 2 years.  I see from some sites that Creon can have a Uric acid build up - have had blood tests - my Uric acid evels are on the high of the scale of what is considered allowable? Is it possible that this drug has caused the knee to become very painful & swollen & now the dreaded replacement?
