Daivobet

Has nothing to do with health care! It is the FDA that approves and diapproves drugs and food. For the most part they are the worst part of us health care allowing thigs like fen Phen and many other drugs that cause great harm to humans while in other countrys they have great medicines that we may never get in this country because of the FDA. The worst part of health care in this counrty is the government. How backwards are we as a country?

I have a friend you has long suffered from psoriases. He repeatedly sought medical attention and each time was given a different cream, sometimes costing as much as $200/tube. Each was somewhat effective in temporarily keeping the psoriasis under control, none was effective in clearing it. Finally, he went to Thailand for carpal-tunnel surgery (it was much less costly there) and while there also inquired about treatments for psoriasis. He was given Daivobet and it has totally cleared his psoriasis. He was amazed .... and also disgusted with medical care in the U.S. All the times he sought medical attention and never was he given daivobet to try. As a RN, I wondered if perhaps this medication was not available in the U.S. so I googled to learn what I could. Now all I can say is his experience speaks very poorly of U.S. medical care.
