Darvocet

confusion, memory loss, mood swings, eratic behavior, stomach pain, vomiting, racing heart, when dosage increased I started having heavy feeling in chest. shortness of breathchest pain. I was hospitalized, tests showed non fatal heart defect, but I never had any symptoms of a heart problem before. My life has been a living hell I have been taking Darvocet since May of 2000. Now I have chest pain three or 4 times a week. sometimes all day, off and on. my pulse seems to skip a beat. I eat Nitrostat like it was candy.

I have taken Darvocet for 10 years off and on. recently my Dr increased Dose 2 every 6 hrs as needed. I was hospitalized with chest pain after taking for 4 or 5 months. I have no insurance, went to Charity Hosp. Dr said I had a heart defect. I asked 3 different doctors about Darvocet, they changed the subject. I can feel my pulse race, I feel it skip a beat . I have sharp pain in chest, pressure, dizziness. I am on heart medication, but usually have to take Nitro (2 or 3 before I get relief. I have had confusion and short term memory loss for years.

I was given Propoxyphen-APAP 100-650 MG TB for UT infection pain. Dosage is 1 every 4 hours. I only took one before bedtime and I had heart palpitations all night long. This happened on two separate occasions. I thought I was having a heart-attack.

Is it ok to take darvocet in combination with nabumetone?

First things first, it did neutralise the pain, my side effect was similar to the same problem I have with Morphine. It causes a negative personality shift. I feel aggressive, I experience anger to a degree I have never felt before. To the point of physical violence. I did inform the Drs office to add this to my list of allergies as far as meds are concerned. Concerning this occured after one dose of the med. I discontinued immediately.

My brother just died of an accidental overdose of Darvocet last week.
