    I was on Metformin first but it caused diahrria constantly so my doctor switched me to diamicron
    and it is causing the same thing only now I'm lightheaded and dozzy ..
    Does Diamicron cause more acid in the stomach which could cause this constant diahrrea..in combination with my blood presure pill Mycardis, atenolol and indapimade..my bowel moves sometimes involantarily..

    I have hemochromatosis and I have been taking the 60mg O.D. before brkfast and I was wondering if anyone is having crippling effects from it? I am having trouble walking etc more than normal I ache so much. In fairnest my knees are stage 3&4 my rt hip and lower back are also in trouble,but I am struggling with this pain I also wear a BuTrans patch.
    I am also taking Glounorm 0.05mg t.i.d. as well. blood sugars 8.8 average
