    I was on Diltiazem only for 8 days and experienced most all of the side effects I have read about from testimonies on this website.  Taking it for supraventricular tachycardia and have stopped it abruptly and now 3 days later am feeling much improved.  My life was not worth living while on it.  What are alternative meds that can replace it?

    I (56 year old male) have been on this drug for a number of years. In the heat and humidity I experience dizziness, but only sometimes. Last week I was playing golf and felt very dizzy when I finish.It was hot but  I had drank 2 bottles of water and 2 gatorades.
    On the way home became sick, sweats and passed out for a few seconds and vomitted. Got the emergency and BP was low 80/43.After many tests creatinine was double what it should have been.....100 instead of 200.
    I have been excerising more and lost some weight so meds have to be readjsuted.
