hi! in 2008 i had discover my goiter my age that time is 20 until aug.2011 i stop taking my med coz i feel i got the side effects of the med. i cant sleep my weight is getting high coz my apetite is high, i easily forget my things, and my neck still desame

I took euthroxy and its hypothyroid symptom like effect was felt on the 2nd day after taking it. I am bearing it for one week until i will have my blood exam a week after. I thought we get well in taking medicine but it even spells the symptoms of hypothyroidism.Now I am feeling warm but with 37 degrees temp, headache, fatigue and overall muscle tightness. It's good I drank kalium durule and vit c multivits the tightness was lessened but still there. I am from the Philippines.

Im taking Euthyrox for last 4month I started frommg, 50mg and now my Dr decreased the dose to 25mg,I gained 5kg,evendore that I dont eat a lot,Im nervous and panic I wana stop it as soon as possible,waiting for Dr permission is anyone have same sympthoms?

where can you buy German euthyrox in usa? I am in California and they don't sell it here

Prije 5 godina odstranjena mi je štitnjača u cijelosti. primila sam radioaktivni jod. UZ štitnjače je b.o. terapija Euthyroxom je 175mg jedan da, a drugi dan 150mg. Unazad mjesec dana imam lupanje srcam , nemir, znojenje i tahikardije. Kardiološko stanje ok, izvršila kompletnu pretragu.Hormonalni status je TSH0,037, Tg 0,10 TGA 25. Kada se pojave simptomi popijem beta blokator i nešto za smorenje, postepemo se simptomi povuku, ali osječam umor i glavobolju. Da li da smanjim količi euthyroxa??

I have been on Euthyrox for about 2 months now and I am slowly but surely gaining weight which worries me very much. Would like to know if this is a side effect?

I'm taking Euthyrox 125 one year...and now I cant take it one month...so I'm interested will i have some consequences , like will i be tired all the time, or impaired concentration??

It's 11 days from the day i took euthyrox 100 mcg, now i have a low grade fever and what looks like allergic reaction on my skin...particularly arms and legs....i dont know if this is allergy caused by taking euthyrox ...any of you experience this?what did you do with it?

My doctor sugestted me to switch from Letrox to Euthyrox. I'm taking the same dose but my body weight incresed. I put some 5 kg in short period. Do you have similar problem and how did you deal with it?

I am dealing with tyroid issue sinca last 11 years and right side totally removed and left side left just very small not to depend on 100% tyroxin intake daily.I had to change from tefor to euthyrox sinca last 3 or 4 years..i was taking 800mg per week before since 900 make my heart faster beat and had some breathing problems and make me inhale so deep that causing dizzy feeling. Recently another dr dropped my tablet level 700 mg/ week, but unfortunately it did not supress my tyroid well enough and I have a lump problem again..My real dr told me once I have to sacrifice, either have to live with fast heard beat or have the chance to have cancer since my tyroid tends to make noduls and make them bigger.. For side effects unfortunately all related to eachother physcologically and physically.. When dr overdose the medicine to keep the tyroid function at min,then i always feels those issues..in last 11 years what I understood is important thing is to find a good dr who really balance all with a optimum tablet intake per week.
For Guest you posted on 7 Feb'11, do not worry..as long as your menstr period are on regular cycle, it does not effect fertility, I was using quite high dose when I got pregnant and also during my pregnancy..My dr just advised me stop the medication a few days before and after giving birth to clear body a bit and give most pure colostrum to my baby..then I start having my pills again and at the same time breastfed..

I started using 50mg Euthyrox last year in September and it has increased my energy and libido (TSH is still down) i have experienced an increase in my sistolic blood pressure. I have never had problems with this and I would like to know if anyone else has had this experience because I am thinking of stopping Euthyrox to first get my blood pressure down.

I have been taking euthyrox for almost a year. First 50mg, then slowly increased to 150mg. 2 months ago my heart stared to pund, slight tremor, and the dose was reduced to 125mg, then to 100 mg. This mornig my heart was still pounding so the doctor stops euthyrox, asked me to take blood test next month and come back to see him.

i also take euthyrox, im 125mg now,,side effects was i had a dry skin and sometimes irritated. im also here from PI.. just want to ask if..i will still get pregnant even if im taking that meds & have been to radiation years ago?

I am a 54 year old female who is also experiencing muscle pain in my arms and shoulders since taking Euthyrox. I aldo experience a stiffness in my legs from the knee down and in general my whole body for theat matter. My GP has also have never heard of this side effect, very frustrating for me as patient. 

i also experience dizziness im taking euthyrox for a about a week but i felt like im in a shaking boat everyday, my skin got too dry and i gain weight too before using euthyrox... now im pregnant im so confuse... i always pray that the pill that i take should not affect the baby inside my tummy.. and of course to make my delivery be safe too... so confused!!!!!

my skin is very dry i have dehydration in all my body

So glad I read your message. I'm on a 100 mcg a day. I thought I was going crazy, attempted fumigating the house, it continued. I've found that bathing doesn't help me at all, it makes it worse. I shower with a medium heat (heat makes it worse) and lather myself in a thick cream. It seems to have calmed down substantially. Good luck.

im frm philippines, A bad news to me i take 200mcg euthyrox  for 8days but OMG!! i experienced a terrible problem, i think is the sign of overdose, like chest pain, vomiting, difficulty of breathing, sweating, restlessness, diarrhea, & the worst is tremors all over my body!!.. it feels like im dying so  i was rush to emergency. & then i decided to change a new dr. right know im still recovering frm that terrible experience, & my new dr. ask another TSH ft3 ft4. when i got the result my TSH very low & my ft3 ft4 are high, my new dr. advise me to take euthyrox 100mcg for the mean time only. actually my maintenance pills is 150mcg. i got alot problem right now. im worried because i got symptoms of hypo again.

I also ran out of stock of Synthroid here in P.I, i'm taking Synthroid 112mcg, so i decided to see my doctor and have my TSH , the result is 3.5 range and its normal, my doctor changed it to Elthroxin and Euthyrox. And its hard to take 2 pills daily. Im only 19 but i havent experienced such pains just continue your maintenance pills dont skip .. And i heard synthroid will delivered again by December :)

me either i cant find synthroid  here in the philippines, so i change now im taking thyrax 150mcg but my TSH its high again i dont know if  the brand or adjusting my metabolism, but i think i will change my maintenance pills to euthyrox 150mcg, but for now my dr. advise me to take 200mcg for two weeks only, anyway i experienced all the side effect of my maintenance pills. even muscle weakness i hate it.

i ran out of stock of synthroid coz the manufacturer here in the philippines is changing the packaging.. so i txted my dctor about it and told me to take euthyrox... i started at 50mcg ony even if i am taking 75mcg of sythroid.. but i felt a sudden feeling od palpitation, chest pains, trouble breathing and all.. tingling feeling all over, dizziness and fuzzy brain feeling.. i know my slef and i know exactly its from the medicine... any of u experienced this?
i cant work and i am less productive bcoz of this..

I have been taking 25 ug (low dose) of Euthyrox for a month after being diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism recently, and whilst I definitely have more energy now and feel more alert during the day, I have found that my skin has been feeling very itchy all over.  I've tried adding more nourishing bath oil to my bath water at night and applying a thicker body cream daily, but my skin continues to feel extremely scratchy, sensitive and uncomfortable.  Has anyone else experienced skin irritation and itchiness as a side effect of this drug?

I am experience the same with aching legs, wrists, elbows and knees.
Are you still taking the tablet? I am on 100mg and reduced it now to 50mg (by myself), but do not want to carry on drinking it if this is what it does.

today i stsrted totake Euthyrox 50mcg ,but now i feeling p-alipition,cinfusionetc

it's actually horrible because it affects my mental estate giving me nervousness as well as horrible panic attacts and all with only 50mg of Levothyroxine also with the name of Euthyrox. There's nothing natural about it. It's only a filthy business for the people who make it putting us all at risk. God bess you J.F.

In November my TSH was 5,5. I took euthyrox 25 and after one month I had pain in my legs. I stopped using Euthyrox.
Then my TSH raised to 12,25. Doctor said to  take Euthyrox one tablet 50 daily. After 20 days TSH was 3,5. I am taking Euthyrox for one month. I have again pain in veins (in legs near the knees and in arms between the hand and the elbow). My fever is 37,2 to 37,4, I have a light headache and I don't feel well. I don't take any other medicine, I am 49 female

I am supposed to take one tablet of Euthyrox 50 daily. I had to stop using it due to some unexpected side effects which appeared after taking the second pill. Those were occasional armpit, shoulders and upperarms pain including spasmodic pain in veins all around my body. I haven't been able to find a person with similar experience, my doctor has never heard of such problem. Have you?

I TAKE VITEMIN WITH EUTHYROX LIKE MALTOFER,VITIMINE D, AND FISH OIL.I IT IS POSSIBLE TO TAKE IT WITH EUTHYROX?
TAKING EUTHYROX FOR A LONG TIME MAY CAUSE FAT IN MY BODY?
