    i took actonel -- or related drug for 32 yrs --- had jaw bone loss and 7 months ago ,fell --broke femur ---don't want to take bisphosphonates any more!!! now --my dr is suggesting evista --- same as fosamax -- and actonel !!! what to do ???

  • Same stats but pain moves…

    Same stats but pain moves around in different places.  Not just joints but muscle pain as well.  Usually take motrin.  Extra tired as well.  Quit taking in Feb after 9 years.  Pain is not as severe but still there.

    Am almost 60. Breast cancer survivor of 9 yrs. Taking Evista several years with no problems till Dec. 2010 . Now it's mid-March 2011. Severe shoulder pain, right shoulder. Tried stopping meds for one week. Resumed and pain increased within 7 hours. Have stopped Evista permantly. Getting little pain relief no matter what I try including perscription meds. Natural inflammatories don't help. Chiropractic doesn't help. Dr. suggested sending me to orthopedist. Tried acupuncture.  Got immediate relief. Need to go twice weekly but can not afford that often.

    I have been taking Evista since May, 2010.  I have experienced a lot of leg pain since that time.  Is there anything I can take to help with this?  Thank you.
