Femara

Afer five years of Famera treatment for breast cancer, I was anticipating feeling so much better. Now diagnosed with CFS and Fibromyalgia my doctor is trying to treat me lately with Chronic Behavorial Therapy. Yesterday my daughter took me to another doctor who did a chest Xray and discovered i have pneumonia and bronchitis. The doctor suggested checking with my oncologist to see if I now have pneumonitis, and after reading about that disease I am fearful the treatment i suffered through has really damaged me.

Headaches, dizziness, worsening depression, hair loss, extreme fatique, skin lesions on trunk, arms, back. ? Lichens sclerosis.  Increased cholesterol levels. I stopped taking it. I prefer quality over quantity of life.

After taking Femara 6 months I experienced: Severe head aches with vision lost (black spot in eyes), short breath, arythmia, hypothyroid, nimbness, memory lost, speaking difficulties, dipression symptoms. Stopped after depression symptoms appeared.

I have beentaking Femara for approximately one year. I am experiencing progressive joint pain, decreased range of motion in my shoulders and severe hip pain. I was unaware these symptoms may be a side affect of the medication until today when I googled Arthralgia.

hot flashes every hour

Have only been taking Femara for 6 months.  Side effects are increasing. Severe shoulder, elbow, knee and back pain. Have also been having difficulty sleeping. Hot flashes are constant and just realized that I have gained 5 lbs. in the last week. I was not offered any other choice for post treatment. I hope there is a better option available. This can't be how it is suppose to be for the next 5 years.

Side effects became so severe that I was taken off the drug.  Insomnia, joint and muscle pain, extreme fatigue.  I could not even turn over in bed or get in or out of a vehicle without help.   Couldn't live on this med another 5 years.
